Frequently Asked Questions

Why did you start Sacred Harvest Floristry?

Sacred Harvest Floristry was born from a homemaker’s deep love for nurturing beauty at home and in the garden. What began as a personal passion for growing vegetables, fruits, and flowers blossomed into the need to start up a heartfelt business, rooted in the rhythms of family life, the seasons, and the sacred act of creating with intention. It’s a way to share something meaningful and handmade, connecting others in our community to the quiet magic found in locally grown blooms.

What is the difference between a garden florist and a regular florist?

A traditional florist typically sources flowers from wholesalers, often grown overseas and shipped long distances. As local garden florists, on the other hand, we grow our blooms right in our own gardens or nearby land. This means fresher, seasonal flowers with a deeper connection to the rhythms of our local landscape. Each bouquet tells a story of where it's from, lovingly grown and arranged by the same hands that nurtured it.

What will be the pricing for bouquets from Sacred Harvest Floristry?

Garden florists can often offer more affordable pricing because we grow the flowers ourselves, cutting out the middlemen, shipping costs, and import fees that traditional florists typically pay. By working seasonally and locally, garden florists reduce our overhead and pass those savings on to our customers, which means we can offer fresh, unique blooms at a more accessible price. At Sacred Harvest Floristry, we will offer everything from smaller “bud vase” bouquets at $10-15 to more traditional larger bouquets at $20-30.

What will Sacred Harvest Floristry offer besides bouquets?

I always plan to have as little waste when it comes to the flowers I grow as possible. This means I love drying flowers that aren’t quite right for beautiful bouquets and creating all sorts of dried flower art - flower crowns, flower garland, small clay trinkets, etc.
